The Better Bar

Leave it to Man Repeller and her Three O'Clock Munchies post to prompt me to feature my own version of a healthy snack attack. In this case, the better [snack] bar. It's both insane yet fascinating how many different types of nutrition and snack bars are available these days. The checkout aisles at Whole Foods seem to house nearly every brand imaginable...and rightfully so. They're easy to grab and something to feel good about as a quick, impulsive snack choice. And with the rise in food intolerances and personal dietary choices and restrictions, there must be a kind to cater to every person's needs and wants. I've done some exploring myself and have found a handful that seem to cover all of my nutritional bases, however I know there are still plenty of other kinds out there just lurking for attention. When a KIND Bar just isn't cutting it and you're looking for something more dense and packed with nutrition, keep your eyes peeled for some of these and narrow it down to a few of your favorite flavors to try in order to give them a fair chance. Gluten free. Dairy free. Soy free. Nut allergy. Vegan. Scared of GMOs. Hungry. Picky. Trendy. There's something here for everyone.
